No. I would advise against getting routine ultrasounds. It may lead to interventions that may not be necessary. Following hemoglobin is likely adequate to screen for post-biopsy bleeding. It is probably safer to get a hemoglobin the next day after biopsy than a few hours later.
I agree with Dr. @Sam. There is a high incidence of hematoma formation post-kidney biopsy when evaluated by ultrasound (70%) or CT scan (90%).
