What is your approach to patients with severe infusion reaction but excellent response to checkpoint inhibitors?
Do you consider specific pre-medications, an alternate checkpoint inhibitor, or abandon ICI altogether?

I agree with @Liza C. Villaruz about stopping checkpoint inhibitors if it is severe anaphylactic reaction.If it is grade 3 or less, I would slow down infusion to 50% and give premedications acetaminophen, ranitidine, and diphenhydramine. If reaction is higher grade, would also add steroids. Aft...
