Do you use an age cutoff for prostate brachytherapy?
Would you use either as monotherapy or boost in appropriate candidates (favorable IPSS, safe for anesthesia)? Assuming IPSS < 15 or 20 and minimal medical comorbidities for receipt of anesthesia.

I would use the same assessment of life expectancy to determine if the patient should be treated at all. Then, decide what treatment they should get.
