For definitive fractionated RT of meningioma (presumed) without biopsy is it always necessary to treat edema evident on MRI Flair sequence?
RTOG 0539 takes a dose painting approach for Group III to treat edema to 54Gy and lesion to 60Gy. However, this significantly increases target volume if edema is extensive.
