Yes, but I typically reduce the dose. In this case, 50.4 Gy in 28 fractions with 2 agent chemotherapy is a very good treatment. The worst case scenario is that the patient would need an APR. That could be because you declined to treat her or him, or because the tumor was not controlled with 50...
