What is palliative RT technique would you use to treat a secondary lymphoma of the scrotum without skin involvement?
The patient’s tumor spans 6 cm depth within the scrotum, with no skin involvement.
What is your preferred beam arrangement?
With photons, would you use bolus in the absence of skin involvement? How would you immobilize the scrotum?

I would treat the entire scrotum with photons. I would probably use VMAT to do so, although 3D-CRT would be a fine option too. An electron field wouldn’t be able to cover the target sufficiently in depth.
Immobilization of the scrotum should be pursued. We often used a patient-specifi...

Technique depends on the dose being given and how the toxicities of that dose may affect the patient. If this is a low-grade lymphoma receiving 2 Gy x 2 or 2 Gy x 12-15 then I don't think the toxicity with a well planned 3D (with FiF as necessary to minimize heterogeneity) is likely to cause too man...
