For how long do you treat an early spinal hardware infection secondary to MSSA after operative washout and retention of hardware?  

Tricky issue. I typically will treat for 6 weeks (a few days IV and quick transition to PO). Then, after 6 weeks, I watch for recurrence. If that happens, I suppress for... time?
