How do you counsel a woman regarding her previous hormonal contraception and the risks with her newly diagnosed invasive breast cancer?

Recent NEJM study showed an increased breast cancer relative risk in longer durations of hormonal contraceptive use that could last up to 5 years. Previous studies (Marchbanks et al, NEJM, 2002) showed no increased cancer risk with OCPs.
