How do you gain access to quinacrine, and what has your recent experience been?
How long has it been back on the market? What is the typical cost for patients? Are certain compounding pharmacies regularly carrying it?
Answer from: at Academic Institution
It can be gotten from a few compounding pharmacies. The cost is high (around $400 a month) and usually not covered by insurance. One compounding pharmacy that often carries it is ChemistryRx in Philadelphia.

I have not used quinacrine for years, partly due to available alternatives as well as difficulty accessing.
Seeing the cost and factoring in the difficulty with prior authorization, I don’t think I will change my current practice.
