How do you manage DIC associated with an aortic aneurysm while awaiting surgical repair?  

Patient has no bleeding symptoms and is planned for aortic aneurysm repair. Is there a platelet goal or fibrinogen goal to target perioperatively, especially if a spinal drain is placed for the surgery?
