Is it ever acceptable for high risk prostate cancer patients to be treated with upfront radical prostatectomy?
If so, when? There seems to be an increasing trend among urologists to offer surgery to high-risk prostate cancer patients despite the low probability of cure predicted by nomograms. Is there data to support or argue against this approach?
