Would you recommend PMRT for T2N0(i+) breast cancer?
If a patient was noted to have poorly differentiated histology with two tumor foci in the breast, positive LVSI, and isolated tumor cells in 1/3 sentinel nodes, would you offer PMRT with RNI?
Answer from: Radiation Oncologist at Academic Institution
In this situation, I do not normally offer PMRT as long as margins are negative.
There are some that would consider in this scenario if triple negative but I don’t usually.

Radiation Oncologist at Iowa City Cancer Treatment Center In such a situation I recommend PMRT.
Answer from: Radiation Oncologist at Community Practice
Not routinely. Would consider discussion if young age and multiple other risk factors - TNBC, margin concern, dermal LVSI/involvement, or treatment response seen in the other nodes.
In such a situation I recommend PMRT.
