Have you used crushed/dissolved tranexamic acid tablets for local hemostasis in dental/oral bleeding in patients with hemophilia /von Willebrand disease? What has been your experience?

Tranexamic acid oral solution is not available in the US. The drug label recommends against crushing or dissolving the tablets. However, there are case reports regarding use of dissolved/ crushed TXA, but few from the US. Amino caproic acid is another option, but is often runs into insurance issues.
