How do you work up a young patient with increasing ferritin and normal TSAT without infectious, inflammatory, or liver disorders?
Ferritin uptrending >1000, no additional lab abnormalities. HFE wildtype. Too young for age-appropriate cancer screening. Asymptomatic except fatigue.
