In this situation, it is preferable to use a chemotherapy regimen that has been shown to be effective in the adjuvant setting. I agree with @Debu Tripathy. The CALOR study supports "physicians choice" chemotherapy in the setting of a local recurrence but unfortunately it doesn't guide specific chemotherapy regimens.
