How do you evaluate/treat a patient with minimal papillary thyroid cancer foci in ovarian mature teratoma tissue (after an oophorectomy) that does not meet criteria for struma ovarii diagnosis?
No clinical guidelines exist. Suggested management approaches in case reports have varied from observation to as far as I-WBS & considering total thyroidectomy.
